Hello Friends!

My Eeyore received a lot of love, and because I do not want to mess with Walt and Friends on their trademarked items, I decided to offer this pattern to my followers for free!

Just a friendly reminder: if you use my pattern, give credit where it's due! Tag me in your creations so I can admire them!

The finished piece sits approximately 8 inches tall.

Here we will slipstitch into the back loop of the first stitch, chain one, turn, and make 6 SC stitches before cutting yarn leaving a long tail, stuffing, and sewing head on to body. This will give the head a slight tilt forward.

Cut Yarn leaving tail long enough to sew onto body. Sew legs to either side of the body so the plushie sits up, I like to add extra stuffing to the thighs before sewing on completely so he has thicker thighs.

Stuff half of the leg then we will SC to the side and then work in rows.

Row 14: SC 6, CH 1, fold in half so the toe is center, SC 9 through both layers across the top, CH 1 and turn.

Row 15: SC 9 Across, CH 1 and Turn (9)

Row 16: SC 9 Across, CH 1 and turn (9)

Cut tail long enough to sew. Sew the arms at an angle to the body above the thighs.

    Ears (make 2)

Row 1: Slipknot, CH 2, SC in second CH from the hook, CH 1 and turn (1)

Row 2: INC, CH 1 and Turn (2)

    Row 3: SC 2 CH 1 and turn (2)

    Row 4: INC 2x, CH 1 and turn (4)

    Row 5: SC 4, CH 1 and turn (4)

    Row 6: SC, INC, SC 2 (5)

    Row 7-15: SC 5, CH 1 and turn (5)

Make two in Elderberry, and cut a short tail to be stuffed inside the ear. This will be the inner ear. Then make two in Country Blue but instead of cutting yarn, line up an Elderberry piece and single crochet around the sides through both layers. Put 3 SC in the ear tips (the row of 1 SC) to give it a point. When you get to the top put 3 SC in the first corner and two in the same place as your first stitch. Cut yarn leaving a long tail for sewing. Fold the top of each ear in half and sew together, then sew to either side of the head slightly above the eyes.

    Hair

In Black, we are going to Loop stitch directly into the head to create hair. Pull a loop 6-7 inches long and twist 25 times. I start my rows in line with the edge of the right ear and work my way to the left, then turn the head to do another row right behind the first. I work in this fashion down the back of the head until I reach where the head meets the body. Stuff your tails into the head to hide them.

    Tail

In blue slipstitch in Into row 5 of the body in the center of the back. Chain 5 and slipstitch 4x back towards the body. Cut and fasten yarn, and stuff tails into body. In black, loop stitch (pull loop about 4 inches and twist 15x) into the front loop of unworked chain at the end of tail, then the back. Repeat once more and weave in ends to hide them.

    Bow

Ch 4, Skip one CH, HDC, SC, HDC. Cut yarn, weave end into chain under last HDC then sinch the SC stitch, sew to tail where the black loop stitch meets the blue slipstitches.

    Embroidery Details

Using white sweet snuggles add a water line along the bottom of the eye. In black sweet snuggles add a liner to the top of the eye and slanted eyebrows.

With black acrylic yarn create a line from the bottom of the chin to inside the hair line bisecting the face, then bunch a couple of horizontal lines in between the eyes  and on the nose.

Add nostrils on either side of the nose.
